Does anyone know a friendly child counsellor. My boy keeps getting into trouble in school for not obeying. He's very smart in studies but always breaks rules and has trouble remembring the rules!!! Confused

Jadis Blurton is a fantastic counsellor, but her fee is $1500/hour. I suggest you buy books from the super nanny or any book by Barbara Coloroso. Kids are Worth It.I read and reread these books and pick and choose what works for me. I am also having constant discussions with other parents to find out what they do and to try to copy the ideas I like or make them work for me. Sometimes i don't like what I read and sometimes I do, but keep working at it. Jadis is worth every penny if you can afford her, but if not, read and talk to your child. Try to make a plan together. it sounds like he is not feeling good about something and is acting out for some reason. he needs attention. try praising him and saying This is NOT like you. YOu're normally so sweet or well-behaved or whatever.Saying it makes it more likely to happen.
